No Job Too Odd!
Junction Home Services began in 2003 as Strange Renovations; a name derived from a desire I had to take on unusual projects. In reality, the jobs I embarked upon were not all that out of the ordinary, but each provided insight into the craft, complexity and life cycle of a building project.
I learned that I have different responsibilities when I am the initiator of a project than when I am called in to address another's work. I also learned that doing my best work gives my customers real value that will save them time and money down the road.
My career as a carpenter began in 1989 when I moved into a one-room schoolhouse in Roxana, Delaware. The building was 106 years old at the time and in need of much attention. Slowly I became more and more involved with carpentry until eventually I began to earn my living working with wood. I still live in the house today.
The name Junction was chosen in 2008. I selected it because each home stands upon a junction of its past and future. This is where we live our lives and where the work gets done.
